Responsibilities
- Undertake high standard caretaking works to Housing properties
- Deliver best in class customer service
- Satisfy safety, quality, and cost control standards
- Ensure cleaning, repairs and maintenance are undertaken in accordance with agreed protocols & time frames
- Ensure PPM safety compliance on all blocks
- Schedule upcoming works including Fire Risk Assessments, seasonal upkeep, and safety checks at necessary intervals
Requirements
- Experience in Caretaking/Cleaning
- Good written & verbal communication skills
- Good numeracy skills
- Able to understand & follow standard operating procedures
- Able to use a PDA following training
- Entitlement to work within the UK (UK work authorization required; no visa sponsorship)
- To drive a Mears vehicle: aged over 21, held licence over 3 months, and have less than 9 points

Description
As a Caretaker, you'll form part of a local team undertaking high standard Care taking works to Housing properties, delivering best in class customer service, and satisfying all safety, quality, and cost control standards. This is a field-based role covering Medway. You will ensure cleaning, repairs and maintenance are undertaken in accordance with agreed protocols & time frames, and be proactive with PPM safety compliance including Fire Risk Assessments, seasonal upkeep, and safety checks. Company van and fuel card are provided for travel.
