Our mission is to develop technology that supports the next generation Internet Computer blockchain network and ecosystem. The Internet Computer is the first public blockchain that can scale the capacity it provides to smart contracts without bound, allowing it to process and maintain any amount of data required. The DFINITY Foundation was founded in 2016, has raised over $150mm from top-tier institutions including Polychain Capital and Andreessen Horowitz and has attracted ~200 of the top computer scientists, researchers, engineers and operators in the world.
