Startup working on AI Healthcare solutions (plus experimental projects). Remote role for a US person in the Pacific time zone: full-time engineering work in a constrained enterprise environment with legacy systems. Stack includes C#, Python, and Gemini API on Windows. Preferred: health systems experience, understanding of cost-effective and reliable LLM API usage. Responsibilities include end-to-end problem solving, supporting non-technical client domain experts, data cleaning, and security/compliance work when needed. Candidate should be self-motivated, able to work with legacy and undocumented codebases, and willing to iterate quickly in a post-AI world while reading and understanding what the AI outputs. Also open to project-based and initially part-time work (generalist hacker: maintain systems/websites, build one-off prototypes, deliver small complete apps including basic marketing; possibly mathy experimental projects requiring an M.S./Ph.D. in statistics/physics or related with pragmatic programming experience). Additional half-time remote admin/chief of staff support for bookkeeping, compliance, communications, social media, and phone calls; should be effective as an AI user and have experience supporting a tech business.
