OnDeck is focused on improving access to capital for small businesses. Technology work includes building user experiences, data processing for underwriting and real-time lending decisions, automating operational and compliance workflows, and precise money movement/calculations with emphasis on scalability, security, reliability and accuracy. Teams build the experience and automation to enable merchants to apply for and receive capital. Qualifications include strong Java development experience, familiarity with frameworks such as Jersey, Spring or Dropwizard, experience with AngularJS, Ruby on Rails, SQL and/or NoSQL, creating and consuming REST web services, and understanding of event-driven, functional and object oriented paradigms.
