I'm the hiring manager for this role. Looking for someone who is, or can become, proficient in backend development for a public NestJS API suite using TypeScript. No hard requirements like a CS degree or prior NestJS experience, but candidates must complete a TypeScript coding challenge (real-world problem). Interview process is 3 rounds and moves quickly. Seeking someone with systems design experience, strong technical leadership skills, and self-motivation. We use a pull rather than push process, so work isn't assigned and you must be able to work efficiently without many hard deadlines or micromanagement.
