Confluent helps businesses "Set Data in Motion" with Apache Kafka (and related services like schema registry, connect e.t.c.). We have a fully managed / SaaS cloud offering (Confluent Cloud) as well as "Confluent Platform" which offers tooling (inc. Kubernetes Operator) and support for running Kafka on your own infrastructure. I joined a little under three months ago as an SRE; my team is spread across Europe and was fully remote prior to COVID-19. There are also major offices in London, UK and Mountain View, California as well as some smaller offices in other locations. There are many positions open across all teams in Engineering: Stack varies by team/area; there is a lot of Java (Kafka/connect etc are all Java) but a lot of our internal services and tools are written in GoLang.
