Our mission is to build a more equitable society by democratizing access to justice. We're starting by enabling anyone to easily file a small claims lawsuit online, and plan to expand to more and more areas over time. We started this company after experiencing how utterly difficult, discouraging, and complex it was to file a small claims lawsuit in a personal case. We don't want to flood courts, but we do want to create a path for normal people to resolve their disputes quickly and effectively. We believe giving people these tools will encourage everyone to behave more fairly over time. We're hiring for a Content Marketing Manager because the greatest value we provide our users is educational material so they can do it themselves. Go ahead and search for legal questions and see how poor the results are. We want someone with experience managing a team of technical writers to create high quality, accurate content, not search spam. You should: - Understand how to build a content pipeline resulting in original, high quality, researched pieces - Know the basics of SEO - our content should be readable by humans and machines - Have excellent reading, editing, and writing skills - humanities majors are encouraged to apply! - Be interested in learning quickly - most of our team has not worked in tech before, and we encourage those interested in making the shift to apply, as long as you're open to learning :) Most of our team comes into the office daily in San Francisco, but we also have several folks permanently remote all over. We're flexible. We pay market based compensation (calibrated by San Francisco and Los Angeles) and great benefits. We can legally employ you anywhere you'd like to live.
