FusionAuth builds authentication and authorization software for web and mobile applications. They recently acquired a fine-grained authorization company and will be building in that area. The company offers a unique deployment model (self-host on-prem or in your cloud or run in their cloud), an API-first approach, a mature codebase (nine+ years), a founder/CTO who still codes, and a free tier that accelerates sales.
