Paradromics is bringing to market the first high-bandwidth data interface between brains and computers. We envision a future where data is medicine and some of the hardest challenges in physical and mental health have been reframed as technical problems with clear solutions. As part of the electrical engineering group, you will be able to interact with and develop our brain computer interface (BCI) system at a variety of levels; from creating and debugging low-level interfaces to our custom electronics, all the way through utilizing machine learning to interpret neural data for our final user interface. Low-level coding expertise (C/C++, assembly, or a less-common language). Strong (multi-)browser-side JavaScript and ES6 and/or TypeScript skills. HTML5 and CSS. Familiarity with React or similar libraries/frameworks, and the tradeoffs involved in their usage. Knowledge of networking protocols - Ethernet, WiFi, TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HTTPS, WebSockets. Awareness of web server architectures and tradeoffs, including async event loops. Experience with, or interest in working with, Rust.
