Syntegra

Syntegra has developed a state-of-the-art method to generate patient-level synthetic dataset for healthcare applications. By utilizing transformer models (like GPT-2 and GPT-3), our synthetic data engine enables us to create realistic equivalents of any healthcare dataset that accurately preserves the analytic characteristics of the original, while maintaining privacy. Syntegra is a spin-out from UCSF. Co-founders include cardiologist Michael D. Lesh, MD FACC Professor of Medicine at UCSF, previously Executive Director of Health Technology there and successful serial-entrepreneur and inventor, and Ofer Mendelevitch, a pioneer data scientist , entrepreneur and author whose previous leadership roles include Yahoo!, Hortonworks, LendUp and Helix.
