Datapane is looking for an exceptional DevOps / Infrastructure engineer to join our team. Datapane is the easiest way to build beautiful data science documents for your company, clients, or community using Python. We are hiring our first dedicated infrastructure / devops hire to take ownership of our highly active community site, our managed PaaS for organisations, and develop our self-hosted options for enterprises. This is a multidisciplinary role, where you'll be wearing many infrastructure and systems related hats - from SRE to working on backend code (primarily in Python) for our cloud and on-prem architecture, including Linux containers that run our highly-available PaaS, provisioning and securing browser-based REPLs, and more. For this role, you'll need Python, Linux, and Docker/Kubernetes experience, along with good knowledge of cloud architectures and (distributed) systems development. Datapane is backed by top-tier investors from Silicon Valley, and the company is growing quickly: reports on our hosted platform are used by over 35k people a month. Our library is already the most popular way to embed data science results into platforms such as Medium, as well as powering data science sharing at hundreds of companies.
