The role involves auditing complex blockchain projects, working with developers of major blockchain teams, contributing to and creating security tools, and conducting security research. Requirements include a strong software engineering background with security focus, familiarity with penetration testing/vulnerability scanning/threat modeling (plus), good knowledge of cryptography, proficiency with Linux and Git, fluency in an OOP programming language, and good written communication. Bonus skills: formal verification, white-box testing, vulnerability scanning, blockchain knowledge, and consensus algorithms. VISA possible.
