Apptentive is a small (67 of us!) company with a People First mindset and a vision of 'A Voice to Every Customer'. We help some of the largest brands in the world listen to and connect with their customers to create better relationships. As a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer, you will be part of a collaborative team and responsible for taking our current high load rails system and updating it to the newest versions. We service over 1.5 million API requests per minute and our SDK is installed on over 1.3 billion devices around the world. We are a small team ~15 engineers and our technology stack is built with Ruby on Rails, Scala, and React, running on Cassandra, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, and Kafka.
