Canonical is a growing international software company that works with the open-source community to deliver Ubuntu. With expertise across open-source technologies we provide consulting, training, support, and fully managed private cloud services for many of the world’s leading companies. The company is increasingly being relied upon to deliver private/hybrid clouds based on OpenStack and/or Kubernetes. In engineering, most of the technical stack is written in Python and Go. Many teams have open positions, with tasks ranging from kernel engineering, robotics, security, and systems programming through to front-end web development. Almost all of our engineering work is open source and the technology supports billions of users every day.
