We are looking for a data engineer to who can help us scale our cloud-based employee engagement platform. You will help us continue to refactor our technology using microservices and serverless architectures and apply data modeling and engineering skills to build a robust foundation for all the services we want to offer. This is a contract-to-hire role. Ideal candidate characteristics: - BS Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience - 2+ years experience working in a cloud-based environment as a data engineer - Experience with GraphQL, SQL, Amplify, Javascript, AppSync, Lambda, VTL - Strong data modeling skills - Agile, waterfall SDLC methodology exposure - Exposure to regulated systems preferred - Passion for the healthcare domain preferred The tech stack looks like this: - AWS services: Cognito, EC2, Amplify, Cloud Front, , CloudTrail, CloudWatch, S3 , Lambda, MediaLIve, AppSync, ElasticSearch, Kinesis, Neptune, CodePipeline - Database: Dynamo - Docker - Gitlab, Python - Node.js, Rust
