Parlytix

I’m CTO at Parlytix and would love to hire HNers! High level, fun tech stuff we are doing - We ingest lots of data from our clients (SQL, Excel, etc) and then use Python to both do analysis (SciPy, etc) and presentation back to the clients (Django). We are looking for people that want to learn a lot, and stay on the cutting edge. As we grow, we will move towards data engineering tools and pipelines (latest Apache projects) to assist us, and you will very much be a part of the architecture decisions we make to do that. We are an early stage product company sitting on some incredible financial data from industrial and energy companies. We are currently using the data to build a market that does not exist and are in stealth mode. Our products are extremely data driven, so we are looking for people that want to be in combination roles of data engineering, data science, and full stack. We are focused on Python devs/analysts at the moment, but if you feel like a fit with experience on another stack and are excited about a role that combines all things software - please reach out.
