Affogata

Affogata gives real-time insights to brands in a non-creepy way: we only use public data. We're looking for junior and senior Ruby/Rails developers and Vue developers to join our engineering team of 9. Our stack is Rails/MySQL/Sidekiq/Vue, and frankly we're only interested in candidates with significant, meaningful, and recent experience using these technologies (sorry). Our biggest day-to-day challenge is deciding what's for dinner. Our second-biggest challenge is our codebase but we've recently made significant investments in making it better by hiring a Rails contributor. Our third-biggest is scaling to petabytes of data and making it meaningful to our customers. We're happy to take on junior Ruby/Rails developers who are eager to make an impact in the Ruby world, as unsexy as HN thinks it's not these days. For Vue developers: we just need a strong one.
