Unto Labs is developing the Thru Layer-1 blockchain. The company announced $14.4M in funding and was founded by Jump Crypto alumni and core contributors to the Solana protocol and the Firedancer client. Their runtime conforms to the RISC-V specification, allowing smart contracts and programs to be written in any LLVM-compatible language; core components are developed in C. They publish docs and open-source developer tooling (docs.thru.org, GitHub) and are hiring for a Systems Engineer role.
