The result is analytics that breaks down barriers, fuels ambitions, and gets results. We are looking for a Performance Engineer for the Decisioning division. Our focus is enabling customers to put their analytical models into production. What you will do: - Work closely with development and product management peers to gather requirements and design thoughtful and representative performance testing scenarios. - Identify performance and concurrency bottlenecks across multiple layers of the application stack. - Provide recommendations for improving system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability. - Propose and implement optimizations to improve our products. - Develop automated test cases for performance scenarios that integrate with our continuous delivery pipeline. What we're looking for: - Demonstrated ability to find the root cause of performance bottlenecks. - Proficiency with at least one industry standard load testing tool (LoadRunner, JMeter, etc). - Experience with scripting languages (Python, Shell, etc). - Experience with Linux systems. - Exposure to APM tools (Datadog, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, etc) is a plus. - Experience with Cloud or Container technologies is a plus. Our development stack is largely comprised of Kubernetes, Go, and web-tech with some Java and C but we have infrastructure and tooling in a variety of modern techs.
