Description
Synapse is a funded startup backed by a Fortune 100 CEO with the goal of making academic research and news more accessible. With our mobile app, users will be able to see the latest research papers and news in their fields of choice in a curated feed based on the topics, journals, and authors they follow. Our mission is to connect the right researchers to the right papers. Right now, we’re building ways to streamline how scientists discover and share research but ultimately we will become the definitive global hub for scientific discourse. We’re looking for a founding software engineer with Python and React experience to work on our web and mobile apps. Experience with React Native and mobile development in general, is a big plus. Experience with MongoDB and Flask are also nice to have.
