Compensation
Up to $76,745–$142,199 per year based on qualifications for GS-11 grade level; career ladder GS-11 to GS-13. Possible extra compensation based on duty location. Recruitment Incentive: one-time $10,000 after completing Federal Law Enforcement Training Academy (FLETC) with a 1-year service agreement (eligible new hires only). LEAP: Law Enforcement Availability Pay (25% Everyone). Retention Incentive: 25% for Caribbean Air and Marine Branch (CAMB) locations and Key Largo, Key West, Marathon (FL) and Long Beach (CA) locations (eligibility contingent). Benefits include health and dental insurance plans, annual and sick leave, and participation in the Thrift Savings Plan (traditional and Roth 401(k)-like).
