Description
Openverse (previously Creative Commons Search) is a search engine that allows openly licensed and public domain works to be discovered and used by everyone. We currently index over 500 million Creative Commons licensed images and intend to add audio and video support. The project joined WordPress.org this year and continues to grow in users and the number of indexed items. All of our code is open source and we welcome community contribution. Come work on open source codebases that ensure access to openly licensed media for the entire web.
