Hi, I’m Donovan, and I’m the security lead at Level. We’re looking for a security engineer to help us tackle some interesting (and some not as interesting) security challenges at our growing startup! We have a world-class team who loves to rethink the status quo and comes from companies like Square, Google, Oscar, Uber, and Airbnb. You'll collaborate across teams as key security stakeholders to ensure security from product design documents through architecture review and hands on application-security assessments, participate in the SDLC, develop threat models and perform security risk assessments, and work with potential partners. We're looking for security engineers who have a passion for working in high-performing teams, are interested in learning new technologies, and keeping up with changing threats. We're looking for engineers who have a good grasp of web and mobile application security threats, assessment techniques and remediations, familiarity with Go, TypeScript, React and other modern frameworks and application environments, and cloud security and containerized environments.
