Description
BeZero Carbon is climate technology start-up building one of the leading global ratings agencies for the Voluntary Carbon Market. We’re building the information infrastructure for this growing marketplace, and the core data product we offer to the market are our ratings of carbon offsets. These ratings assess the likelihood that a single offset credit issued by a carbon removal or avoidance project removes or avoids a ton of CO2-equivalent emissions. Founded in 2020, we’re currently a team of about 75 people, combining diverse backgrounds coming from climate and earth sciences, sell-side financial research, earth observations, machine learning, engineering and public policy backgrounds.
