Shelf Engine stops food waste with demand forecasting. Food waste at grocery stores averages 35%! Join us in helping to reduce the economic and ecological impact of this waste. We’re hiring software engineers, data scientists, and a data engineer in our Seattle office. We’re looking for people who are passionate about having a positive environmental impact on the world through their job, and are excited to join a small but rapidly growing startup - we’re currently 25 people. - Forecasting and modeling is in Python - Front end is Angular and Ionic / TypeScript - Backend is ASP.NET Core / C# / Azure - Orchestration with Kubernetes. We do a lot of data interop in the backend with our customers, and other data systems like accounting and analytics, and reporting/BI systems. Experience with any of these languages/frameworks and domains is a big plus!
