Medra is building robotics to accelerate scientific breakthroughs. We automate life science lab protocols with affordable and out-of-the-box robotics any scientist can use, by leveraging computer vision, AI, and state-of-the-art robotics. Just as machine learning engineers need great tools to advance the frontier of AI, scientists need great tools to accelerate their R&D. Our engineering team of five (prev experiences at Neuralink, Tesla, Google X, Amazon, Markforged) are excited about accelerating scientific research for drug discovery, climate change, and longevity. I myself (founder and CEO) resigned from a tenure-track professor position in robotics and machine learning to start this company.
