Rivian’s Self-Driving Cloud Team is responsible for the end-to-end implementation of cloud digital experiences across web and mobile apps. To that end, we are developing a world-class cloud services platform that will support implementing fully autonomous self-driving for Rivian vehicles. We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer who will be developing large-scale applications using the latest cloud services technologies, AWS resources, and UI frameworks. You’ll be building from the ground up with an obsession towards helping the Self-Driving team go as fast as possible and manage petabytes of sensor data. Key Qualifications: - Relevant industry experience, with 3+ years of building large-scale enterprise-grade cloud solutions. Experience building distributed systems at scale that can handle millions of transactions/second. Build microservices with Python, Go or Java. We use Go and Python. Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software design. Communicate design ideas and document them. Proficient in NodeJS, Javascript/Typescript, and UI frameworks (Preferably React JS). Good understanding of Kubernetes, AWS technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and GraphQL/RESTful APIS.
