DemandStar is marketplace that connects governments and suppliers, resulting in more competition and taxpayer savings for the government, and more opportunities with more discoverability for suppliers. We have almost 600 active governments and over 100,000 suppliers on our network and are growing quickly. About the company: Have revenue, recently raised a $2M growth round from VersionOne, Advance Venture Partners, and Forefront Venture Partners. 20 person company, 6 person engineering team. Strong belief in building a healthy culture where people aren't working 60 hour weeks. We're looking for a senior or lead fullstack engineer to build massive new features along the procurement lifecycle and engagement hooks that will directly impact the growth trajectory of the business. We have a strong team of frontend engineers today, so this role will initially have a heavy focus on the backend. We're building a collaborative engineering team that tackles big problems together. Tech stack is React, migrating toward typescript, .Net backend, migrating to Node, and hosted on Azure. Open to introducing new technologies as opportunities arise, but good candidates should have some overlap in the existing stack. We are building a team whose diversity reflects that of our users - local communities made up of all sorts of people all over the country. Our company is 40% non-male, our product and engineering team is 30% non-male, and geographically we already have team members in WA, OR, CA, CO, MD, GA, NJ, DC. We're building a distributed-first company for the long term (not just during COVID).
