Description
Amazon Fulfillment Technology (AFT) is the division of Amazon focused on improving and optimizing the Amazon Fulfillment Centers (warehouses). We have teams in Seattle, Toronto and Austin. There are a lot of teams in all three offices working on interesting problems. My team focuses on using machine learning to predict mismatches between our inventory database and reality. This helps ensure that when a customer orders an item they always receive their order on time. We own everything from the prediction, the work scheduling, the user experience for the tools, reporting, the whole problem from end to end.
