Parlor.io is focused on revolutionizing the way companies think about their users. We believe the traditional ways companies build products and interact with users are fundamentally broken, so we’ve set out to design a better process and build the first ever User Relationship Management system. Parlor is a Boston-based team founded by serial entrepreneurs, backed by incredible investors, and united by the belief that ideas and individuals win the day. We’re looking for an experienced backend engineer to join our growing platform team, and to play an integral role in the launch of our new backend / API using AWS Amplify. We are currently undergoing a full front- and back-end overhaul -- migrating from Ember.js to React and from Google Cloud Platform (Firebase/Firestore) and Node.js to AWS. Stack: AWS (Amplify, DynamoDB, Cognito, AppSync, Lambda, OpenSearch, S3), JavaScript / TypeScript, Express / Node.js, Git; legacy: GCP (Firebase, Firestore, Cloud Functions)
