John Carroll University invites applications for a Faculty of Practice in Data Science (open rank, non-tenure-track) in the Department of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Data Science. The role involves teaching a variety of undergraduate courses (potential courses include data mining, big data and cloud computing, agentic development), leading development and growth of the Data Science and Analytics curriculum, collaborating with the Career Center to build industry partnerships and internships, mentoring and advising students, and contributing to departmental and university service.
