Most importantly, Layer sits on top of your existing data and tech stack and works in your dev environment for you with zero friction. One of our founders sold his previous company at 500M USD, the other is one of the top VC partners in Europe. Our engineering team is a mix of world-class makers from Palantir, Revolut, Google, Improbable, Coinbase, Amazon, among others. Our team and culture is paramount to all else. Our tech stack is React/TypeScript on the frontend, Java at the backend (some Scala + Python too), Spark as the underlying computation engine. We use Terraform, AWS, CircleCI, Kubernetes heavily too.
