Metopio

Metopio is a data visualization SaaS that combines publicly available datasets with client data to identify relationships and make better systematic decisions. We have fantastic JS visualizations powered by a flexible data architecture and analytics engine. We bring 'analytics as a service' to people without technical or data skills, and we make it easy for anyone to explore and visualize data about their state or city. As we grow, we're looking for a lead backend engineer to work on all aspects of our infrastructure and backend platform, with a heavy focus on Python and Django. You should also be comfortable with data and statistics. This is our first non-founder role, so candidates will be comfortable doing many jobs and learning on the spot.
