We are Kitty Hawk, an innovative aerospace company backed and led by proven visionaries. Our mission is to design and build vehicles for everyday flight, reducing the world's traffic congestion. Although an audacious challenge, we have been at work on a self-flying air taxi since 2010, tackling some of the biggest challenges in aviation. Our world-class team contributes decades of expertise in commercial aviation, aerospace, automotive engineering, advanced manufacturing, flight test, industrial design, customer experience, and regulatory compliance. With the addition of a new Atlanta location, we invite talented and ambitious engineers who share our passion for flight, to join our team. Specifically, we are now hiring for software engineers to assist in the development, analysis, review and verification of flight software which runs on-board our Cora aircraft. Preferred experience includes: embedded systems engineering, firmware engineering, experience with RTOS development, RTCA DO-178C or DO-178B, SAE ARP 4751A, software test coverage analysis.
