We have two open roles for engineers to build key pipelines and infrastructure for cutting-edge astronomical time-domain sky surveys including the Zwicky Transient Facility and the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope. Software engineer (Kafka/Spark/Jupyter): Develop novel cloud-based services for processing astronomical time-domain alert streams from ZTF, LSST, and more. Research Scientist/Engineer (C++/Python): Develop high-performance image processing and catalog manipulation libraries and help build scalable architecture to coordinate the operation of LSST's data processing system.
