Tise

Tise is a social marketplace for second hand fashion. Launched in Norway in 2016, in the past five years Tise has become a community of 1.6 million users, with over 100k daily active users in Norway alone. In 2021 we are focusing on taking leading positions in Sweden, Denmark, and Finland. To do this we need more engineers who thrive when given a lot of autonomy to solve problems. We are currently looking for both a senior backend (or devops) engineer to join the backend team (currently 4 people), as well as two web and Android developers to join our client teams (currently 2 on each platform). Relocation to the Oslo area is required. Some of the things the backend team work on: - Turn feature descriptions and designs into full-fledged APIs for our apps - Extend and improve our search engine, escrow payment solution, and recommendation engine - Tackle both expected and unexpected scaling needs - Create internal tools to allow our commercial and marketing teams to work smarter.
