Industry Dive is looking for a Software Development Manager to join our rapidly growing Engineering Team. The Engineering Team is responsible for the development and operation of the company’s suite of cloud-based software products as well as the maintenance and reliability of a content management system powering more than 20 websites. The Software Development Manager is a proven coach, mentor, and leader with previous experience working as an individual contributor and manager. They are fully comfortable working in an agile environment with exposure to different frameworks such as Scrum. As a technical leader, they ensure teams have the necessary skills needed to deliver high-quality products for customers and stakeholders. They are also responsible for identifying and removing any impediments to create a productive and efficient environment for team members. The prerequisites for joining our team are simple. We care more about your attitude and aptitude than the specific tools and technologies you have used in the past. We look for candidates who have a strong passion for software development and a proven leadership track record. You should also have great analytical skills and the ability to deal with software requirements in a collaborative and agile team-based environment.
